Blown engine spoils top run.

The Team TYPHOON digital studio #95 quickly moved into the 3rd position during the qualifying race. As the laps clicked by, Kot just barely missed 2nd place at the line.

The feature event started with Jeff moving through the field. Quite a few cautions had Kot jocking for positions on the restarts. Kot had worked his way up to 5th and with 4 laps to go the engine blew up, sending a rod through the engine block and shooting oil all over the exhaust igniting an oil fire. Jeff was quick to exit the flaming car, fire and safety personel estinguished the fire. Kot's day was done and would be unable to make the second feature race later that night.

A new motor was put installed and the car was race ready for the August 22 event but that was cancelled due to weather.
