Kot Dominant in Providence Consi Win

The race team made the trip up to Rhode Island to run in the inugural race at the Dunkin Donuts Center in Providence, RI. Jeff missed almost all of practice with multiple throttle cable failures. The #95 TYPHOON digtal studio/Behrent's Performance Warehouse entry would have to attempt to make the show with a guess at the gearing and setup. Surprisingly Kot put the #95 in the top 20 during qualifying.

Jeff was starting 5th and had to get into a transfer position to make the A main later that night. Kot easily moved into a transfer spot when a caution came out. Kot was passed under caution and with the flagman not paying attention to the position jumping he dropped the green flag and the #95 would start last and would have to pass the same cars again. When the race was done Kot still needed one more spot to transfer into the A main.

Kot took care of that quickly starting in the 3rd position for the next race, taking the lead before one lap was complete. Jeff led the race from green to checkers surving multiple restarts before building up a dominat lead and taking the win.

In the A main Kot would be starting 18th, but quickly made his way into the 6th place position before the checkers fell on the event at lap 20.

Saturday was a much easier night as Kot finished 3rd in back of Ciconni to transfer into the A main immediately. Saturday night's feature would be a 30 lap event at the arena. Jeff would be introduced to theenthusiastic crowd 9th in the 22 car field with some of the most well known and talented drivers. Jeff's car continued to look stong when his progress was slowed when a car tried to pass 3 cars wide in turn 1, sending that car head on into the wall and tearing Kot's right rear tire. Kot was able to get the tire changed thanks to the Cumens Team and get back on the track to finish 13th.
